Overview

Yusen Logistics Italy is looking for a Solution Design Manager.

MAIN SCOPE

• Study of logistics processes, time, methods and related costs to define pricing;
• Design of highly complex logistics solutions;
• Support in implementation;
• Support for data analysis (KPI, QBR, process improvement)

The resource will report to the Senior CLT Sales Manager

MAIN TASKS

New Business project design to produce profitable logistic projects in line with company targets

• Design innovative, scalable logistics solutions for retail, fashion, and eCommerce customers;
• Data Crunch;
• High level project assessment
• Conduct process analysis, operational flow mapping and cost modelling, preparing business cases and feasibility studies
• Support the commercial team during RFQ / RFI / RFP processes by developing tailored technical proposals and solutions

Project management to guarantee the best alignment between solution designed and customer expectations :

• Coordinate complex projects, managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Oversee project start-up phases, ensuring smooth transition from design to operational implementation.

Kaizen and Innovation to be the expert point of contact driving improvements, quality and sustainability :

• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and post go-live performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Stay up to date on market trends, technologies, and best practices, with a strong focus on automation, digitalization, and supply chain sustainability

QUALIFICATONS

• Level of education : degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain and management
• Experience : +5 years of experience in similar roles or in contract logistics operations

SKILLS

• Familiarity with warehousing costing models
• Deep understanding of warehouse management system (WMS)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and Power Point
• Advanced Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar
• Fluent in English
