A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Project Manager for solar projects in Italy. You will drive projects from authorization to ready-to-build, collaborating with diverse teams across Milan, Rome, and Bari. The ideal candidate has experience in project management within renewables, particularly solar, and strong knowledge of Italian permitting processes. This role offers the chance to work in a purpose-driven, inclusive environment.

Competenze

  • Proven project management experience, ideally in renewables (solar/agrivoltaics).
  • Experience with Italian permitting and grid connection for MT/AT PV projects.
  • Track record managing TICA processes and multidisciplinary teams.

Overview

Workload: 100%

Drive the growth of solar in Italy with Axpo/Urbasolar. Lead impactful projects from authorization to ready-to-build, collaborating with diverse teams across Milan, Rome, and Bari.

Responsibilities
  • Secure project authorizations, coordinating with authorities, landowners, grid operators, and local stakeholders
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications; ensure compliance with environmental, legal, and technical requirements
  • Build and manage timelines, budgets, business plans, risk registers, and KPIs
  • Lead due diligences and studies (HV, topography, environment, legal) with external advisors
  • Manage authorizations and grid connection processes in line with TICA and established procedures
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams; ensure effective communication and internal approvals through all stages
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or similar
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in renewables (solar/agrivoltaics)
  • Strong knowledge of Italian permitting, grid connection, and compliance for MT/AT PV projects
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving strengths; clear communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with land-use constraint analysis tools and project management software
  • Ideally: Track record managing TICA processes and multidisciplinary teams
