A recruiting firm is looking for a Software Engineer (Integration/Customization) to join a technical team focused on a SaaS solution. The role encompasses backend customizations, integration flows, and collaboration with functional teams. Candidates should have at least 3 years of software development experience, strong skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and must be fluent in English. This is a full-time remote position based in Italy.

What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Integration / Customization) to join our partner’s technical team, specializing in the customization and integration of a SaaS solution.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing tailored solutions. In this role, you will focus primarily on customizing the product to meet client-specific requirements, with approximately 90% of the work on the backend and 10% on the frontend.

The engineer will collaborate closely with the functional team (Project Manager and Solution Consultants) to ensure the successful delivery of the required solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the functional team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Validate the technical feasibility of client requests and support Solution Consultants in developing solutions
• Design and develop customizations for the SaaS platform
• Define and implement integration flows between the platform and existing business systems.

What We Look for in You

• Degree in Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and SQL / HQL
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs
• Experience using SVN and version control
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and advanced troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
