The Milan office (Agrate Brianza) is seeking a passionate and professional Software Developer to join the Automation Team for a semiconductor client. Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is not required; all hired team members will receive specialized training to acquire necessary project knowledge.

Employment Type and location: Milan, Agrate Brianza. 1 vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure new IT Automation Solutions.
• Guide the acceptance phase to test the effective functioning of developments and communicate results efficiently.
• Deliver on-shop-floor support by analyzing logs, creating reports, and reproducing issues observed in the fab.
• Development and acceptance activities: gather specifications, connect equipment, characterize equipment, set parameters, establish baselines, and maintain documentation and knowledge management.
• Organize, build, and perform acceptance tests for new automation developments from request to production release.
• Report on progress and outcomes for all phases of automation projects.
• Provide L2/L3 incident troubleshooting and deliver service requests per target SLAs and required productivity.
• Participate in daily incident meetings with IT service teams and contribute to problem management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Essential: Proficiency in C# with 1–3 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills; Italian and English are mandatory.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Desirable: Knowledge of VBScript; familiarity with VB6; understanding of XML; Regular Expressions; Tibco Rendezvous; SECS/GEM Protocol and SEMI Standards; problem-solving attitude.
