A well-established marine company operating within the ship repair and maintenance sector is seeking an experienced Ship Repair Manager to oversee and deliver drydock and afloat repair projects.

This role is based in a key ship repair region in Southern Italy, home to multiple yards, subcontractors, and marine service providers, offering long-term stability and project variety.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of ship repair projects from arrival to re-delivery
• Planning, coordination, and supervision of repair works (hull, mechanical, electrical)
• Managing production schedules, manpower, and subcontractors
• Acting as the main point of contact between owners, superintendents, class, and yard teams
• Ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Monitoring HSE compliance and shipyard procedures
• Reviewing technical specifications, variations, and additional works
• Reporting project progress to senior management
