Role purpose

The SHE Specialist Intern collaborates with the Health, Safety & Environmental teams, but also with Engineering, Quality, HR and Operations teams, to guarantee a continuous improvement of the digitalization process of SHE issues. The intern will be involved in key issues and improvement workstreams, acting autonomously in the development and implementation of new digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and HR teams to support and propose activities related to digitalization improvement;
  • Support the fast and efficient implementation of countermeasures to tackle daily tags and unsafe conditions;
  • Document archive management and updates through the implementation of a digital platform;
  • Reporting of KPIs related to SHE matters;
  • Management of all SHE data through a company platform (e.g., tracking Near Misses, SBO, Internal Audit, etc.);
  • Foster relation between people and the department on HSE topics;
  • Participate actively in training projects; support management and coordination of worker information and training programs and their monitoring;
  • Evaluate different solutions to the same issue, with focus on costs and timing;
  • Track metrics to identify areas for improvement and monitor upgrades;
  • Support planning and management of internal and customer audits;
  • Collaborate with Quality department for compliance with the Standards.

Does this sound like you?
  • High School Diploma
  • Creation, development and implementation of digital tools to manage data
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel, PowerPoint), Apple, DataStorage
  • Extremely well-organized, precise and able to multi-task with excellent prioritizing and time-management skills
  • Knowledge in digitization
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to act as a team player
  • English proficiency and Italian mother tongue
  • Fast learner, open minded and growth mindset
  • Can-do attitude and result-oriented
