As the Senior Logistics Management Specialist, you will be part of the Global Logistics Augmentation and Staff Support (GLASS) team supporting the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at Vinceza, Italy. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.), screen requirements for completeness and accuracy, and suitability.
  • Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and/or requiring activity.
  • Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and information (in the form of briefings, phone conversations, VTCs, MS Teams meetings, etc.) to customers, Government staff, and others on the requirements packet generation (development and submission), requirement reviews, requirements validation process, performance metrics, and project schedules.
  • Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals submitted in response to Project Planning Requests (PPRs) and change proposals on service contract task orders.
  • Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at various daily operations and staff meetings.
  • Possibly be required to lead portions of meetings in support of logistics support to requiring activity.
  • Maintain continuous liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff within the AOR/PMO.
  • Perform an in‑depth analysis of the performance contractor’s monthly workload as a basis for determining the previous quarter’s workload as well as projections for the following quarter(s).
  • Review analysis projections and consider any anticipated adjustments such as troop surge, seasonal requirements, etc., that would not have been reflected in the monthly workload data reports.
  • Prepare monitoring reports (detailed tracking), briefings and information papers on performance contractor’s project schedules, performance metrics, project planning estimates, Letters of Technical Direction (LOTDs), changing requirements and common operating pictures (COPs).
  • Provide recommendations to current and changing operations requirements, PWS revisions, emerging missions or changes in mission or operation environment.
  • Perform in‑depth research and analysis of emerging missions, policies, procedures, regulations, directives or other issues.
Qualifications
  • An Active or Current Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
  • Five years of experience with pre‑award procurement activities such as:
    • Analyzing and documenting requirements,
    • Recommending revisions to performance work statements or specifications,
    • Procurement/project planning/management, and
    • Tracking and monitoring procurement activities (i.e., master schedules) to ensure compliance with DoD policy, administrative procedures, regulations and statutes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain approval to work in Italy by obtaining an ECOPS and VISA.
  • The ability to report to work onsite five times a week.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time and independently travel to remote locations and provide site survey estimates for emerging requirements.
