Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure, Systems & Network Administration
- Design, manage, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory and core enterprise services.
- Manage network configuration and operations (firewalls, VPNs, WiFi) ensuring availability and performance.
- Oversee DNS, certificates, and domain management (public and internal).
- Define and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies and procedures.
- Cloud & DevOps (Enterprise Focus)
- Own and operate AWS infrastructure (mandatory), ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational governance.
- Implement and maintain DevOps automation and scripting to improve delivery speed and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation using tools such as Ansible and Google Apps Script.
- Collaborate with external DevOps partners on migrations, modernization initiatives, and platform reliability.
- Contribute to cost governance and optimization initiatives (FinOps awareness).
- Security Enablement & Identity Technologies
- Implement and operate security technologies across infrastructure, cloud, and endpoints.
- Own day‑to‑day administration of One Identity (access governance, user lifecycle workflows, periodic access reviews).
- Ensure security configurations are maintained, documented, and aligned with internal policies and vendor best practices.
- Support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations identified through audits, tooling, or operational reviews.
- Act as technical point of contact for security‑related infrastructure topics, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external providers as needed.
- Endpoint & Workplace Management
- Manage corporate Windows and macOS devices using ManageEngine.
- Define endpoint standards and operational processes.
- Administer enterprise collaboration platforms (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365).
- Ensure a secure, compliant, and efficient digital workplace experience for users.
- Monitoring & Observability
- Oversee monitoring and observability platforms (e.g. PRTG, Instana).
- Define and maintain dashboards, alerting rules, and incident escalation processes.
- Act as primary interface with external monitoring/observability providers.
- Databases & Core Platforms
- Administer and support enterprise databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Ensure availability, performance, backup coverage, and operational stability of core platforms and services.
- Project, Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and contribute to enterprise IT projects.
- Coordinate internal resources and external providers.
- Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational processes.
- Act as a senior technical advisor for IT management and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Master Degree in a related subject.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles with hands‑on operational ownership.
- Strong AWS experience (mandatory).
- Solid background in Windows/Linux administration and enterprise networking.
- Experience with DevOps automation and scripting (Ansible, Google Apps Script or equivalent).
- Experience with identity and access management platforms (e.g. One Identity).
- Endpoint management experience using ManageEngine (Windows/macOS).
- Monitoring and observability experience (PRTG, Instana, or equivalent).
- Ability to manage vendors and coordinate cross‑functional teams in an international environment.
- Availability to participate in an on‑call rotation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP.
- Exposure to CI/CD platforms, container platforms, or OpenShift.
- Experience with DNS/CDN and edge services (e.g. Cloudflare, Akamai).
- Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
