Your role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Industrial Designer to help define the future of smart eyewear and wearable experiences. This role blends deep craftsmanship with forward‑thinking exploration, shaping products that merge fashion, technology, and human expression into one seamless experience. You will be a creative engine within the Wearables Design team: pushing form, function, and interaction beyond what’s expected, creating products that express the unique character of each brand while shaping the future language of wearable design. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering exceptional design quality, a passion for exploring new tools and materials, and the ability to move fluidly between blue‑sky exploration and detailed execution, always with a strong sense of craft, collaboration, and curiosity.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Excellence & Execution
  • Own and drive the industrial design process for smart eyewear and wearable products, from early exploration to final refinement.
  • Deliver products that fuse technology, ergonomics, and brand DNA into timeless, high‑quality design outcomes.
  • Champion craft and visual quality across sketching, storytelling, surfacing, and CMF, setting the bar for creative excellence.
  • Lead concept generation and exploratory work that challenges convention and redefines the wearable experience.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, AI tools, and materials innovation to expand how the team conceives, prototypes, and communicates design ideas.
  • Translate new possibilities into tangible, manufacturable product concepts that align with brand and engineering realities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Trend, Marketing, Product Development, R&D, and Engineering to ensure design intent resonates with cultural and brand context.
  • Work hands‑on with technical teams to solve integration challenges, balancing aesthetic vision with performance and feasibility.
  • Contribute to multi‑brand programs by adapting design direction to the unique personality of each brand.
Design Process Evolution
  • Introduce new tools, workflows, and visualization methods to improve efficiency and creative expression across the team.
  • Champion a mindset where data, user insight, and intuition coexist, helping the team think systemically and design with intent.
  • Actively share learnings and foster best practices to influence how the Wearables Design Team operates day to day.
Prototyping & Validation
  • Lead the creation of design prototypes to validate ergonomics, interaction, aesthetics and emotional quality.
  • Collaborate with model‑making and engineering partners to refine details and ensure seamless integration of smart components.
  • Act as a mentor and creative partner to junior designers, nurturing growth and curiosity.
  • Help cultivate a team culture built on openness, respect, and the shared pursuit of meaningful design.
Market & Trend Awareness
  • Stay ahead of trends in materials, lifestyle design, and wearable technology.
  • Synthesize insights into actionable inspiration and provocations that can inform future design directions.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or Product Design.
Experience:
  • 7+ years in industrial design, ideally across consumer electronics, wearable technology, or premium eyewear.
  • Proven ability to deliver products from concept to production while maintaining design integrity.
Skills & Expertise:
  • Exceptional ability to sketch, visualize and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Mastery of design tools (Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of CMF, manufacturing processes, and detail design for production.
  • Experience working around internal components and technology integration (e.g. audio, camera, sensors, batteries).
  • Confident navigating between conceptual exploration and precise execution.
