Role Description :

For our Product, Technology and Data Department, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst. The Data Analytics team is tasked to turn data into insights and get a clear understanding of the Italian marketplace industry.

The Senior Data Analyst will study user behaviour, evaluate strategic initiatives and experiment with new features. Above all, your work will impact the growth of our business.

Job Responsibilities :

• Mash up and analyse different data sets to support the business with high‑value insights and structure presentations showing the findings to a variety of stakeholders (e.g. funnel analysis, identify trend and patterns )
• Design clear, automated reports and dashboards to democratise data access to the whole company
• Get to know and help design our data lake to extract as much value as possible and to better model our business (data modeling)
• Formulate hypotheses and design experiments to evaluate features impact
• Communicate with stakeholders to develop a good business understanding in order to be effective in collecting requirements and thus answering stakeholder questions with the best analytical approach

Job Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience as Data Analyst
• Highly proficient with data extraction / manipulation tools (SQL, Spark, Pandas, Polars…)
• Good knowledge of one or more analytics languages (Python, R,...)
• Experience in applied statistical techniques (e.g. regressions, ANOVA, time series analysis, Bayesian statistics, ...)
• Experience with BI visualization tools
• Data storytelling skills to match a wide range of audiences

Nice to have :

• Experience in conducting A / B testing on product features
• Hands on experience with Tableau
• Experience with tracking tools (Google Analytics, Snowplow, Adobe Analytics...)
• Prior experience in a digital company
• Hands on experience on Data Science projects
• Good English proficiency level
