The Role

• Design cloud solutions on GCP for production workloads with high reliability, scalability, and security.
• Perform technical assessments and develop cloud management architectures and reference models.
• Identify security and compliance frameworks and measures to ensure data protection and privacy.
• Utilize agile methods for software and project lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Dev and Infrastructure teams to manage DevOps and CI/CD tools.

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience designing cloud solutions on GCP.
• Advanced knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, CLB, Cloud DNS, VPC.
• Ability to define Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to ensure cloud environment security.
• Proficiency with container architectures like Kubernetes, EKS, Docker.
• Experience with shell scripting and automation platforms such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience managing on-premises and cloud data centers, using tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency with software lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, customer-focused and results-oriented.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards like SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, CIS.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale systems.
• Experience across multiple industries.
• At least 1 year of experience leading teams of technical experts.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to conceptualize solutions and create blueprints.
• Experience managing on-premises data centers and virtualization tools like VMware.

Required Education

• High School Diploma/GED.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
