Overview

Location: Italy

Work arrangement: home based – travel requirement up to 70%

Summary: The position includes a diverse set of responsibilities as a clinical specialist responsible for training site staff on the safe and effective use of CorFlow technology during clinical trials, supporting live cath lab procedures, and building relationships with key opinion leaders to prepare for commercial launch. The role suits a proactive, collaborative, service-minded, and detail-oriented candidate with experience in clinical trials support / proctoring or cardiac cath lab background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Education: identify and train site staff to safely use CorFlow Technology, ensure the site achieves independence to operate, address remedial actions for staff or centres, maintain ongoing staff training, and deliver education on cardiovascular topics and trial updates. contribute to the selection and training of new centres of excellence beyond clinical trials.
  • Proctoring and Case Support: supervise initial clinical cases to ensure correct use of the CorFlow System, verify site readiness for independent use, monitor protocol compliance, support site workflow for high-quality data, maintain proctoring records, and assist ongoing cases to ensure safety and consistency.
  • Regulatory Requirements and Audits: support internal and external audits/inspections as requested, ensure accurate records for audits, and conduct trials within regulatory frameworks.
  • Customer Engagement: maintain regular contact with Site PIs and teams, develop relationships with wider KOLs for commercial launch readiness, expand the network of clinical advocates, and identify early adopter centres and national societies to support market adoption.
  • Personal Development: pursue continual learning through journals and congresses, stay updated on technological and competitor developments, and understand healthcare systems and their impact on CorFlow.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science or healthcare field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience as Clinical Field Trial Specialist, Field Technical Specialist, or similar in medical devices/pharmaceuticals, or clinically trained with cardiac catheter lab experience.
  • Proven experience in proctoring, training, and education.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (able to deliver training).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60–80% within country and potentially internationally.
