Job Summary

PNO Innovation is looking for a Business Developer to drive the growth of our Strategic Innovation Services (SIS) business in Italy. The ideal candidate combines a strong background in innovation consulting with a proven commercial track record in B2B business development particularly within the software and technology sectors. This is a strategic role at the intersection of consulting innovation and business expansion.

Your Mission

Your mission will be to identify, develop and close high‑value opportunities for innovation consulting services leveraging PNO’s expertise in technology intelligence, open innovation and public funding to help clients design and implement innovation‑driven strategies.

Your Tasks (Part 1)
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities in innovation and technology‑driven markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and key ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end sales process from prospecting and commercial offer development to negotiation and closing.
Your Tasks (Part 2)
  • Represent PNO Innovation at events, conferences and innovation networks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Europe to align business development with delivery strategies.
Your Profile (Part 1)
  • Minimum 58 years of experience in innovation consulting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated B2B sales success with a strong record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Experience working with technology, software or digital transformation clients.
Your Profile (Part 2)
  • Strategic mindset, strong communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Based near Rome or Naples, available to work from the office 24 times per month.
