To expand the Finance team in our office in Poznań, we are looking for a

Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Main activities

Within the Accounting area, you will supervise key accounting activities, prepare periodic tax returns, and handle monthly, quarterly closings, and annual financial statements. Your main tasks will include:

• Verification and control of accounts receivables and liabilities balances
• Providing fiscal and legal advice on transportation accounting, document management, and payments
• Preparation of general ledger entries and financial data
• Updating and maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
• Maintaining records of bad debt provisions and actual bad debts
• Preparing tax returns in accordance with Polish GAAP
• Preparing reports for the Central Statistical Office, the National Bank of Poland, banks, and Group companies

Required Profile

• University degree in accounting or finance
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting within medium-sized companies
• Strong practical knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations

• Structured and autonomous working style
• Proactive and effective communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Good knowledge of English (additional foreign languages are a plus)
• Qualification as Certified Accountant is a clear advantage
