A leading gaming company in Milan is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage all accounting operations and ensure compliance with local regulations. You'll oversee financial statements preparation, manage cash flow, and handle group reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Accounting and relevant experience in the gaming, tech, or media industry, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Competenze

• Consolidated experience in accounting and cost control roles, ideally in the gaming, tech, or media industry.
• Experience with group reporting tools like HFM is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS is a plus.

Mansioni

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
• Manage monthly and year-end closings and prepare statutory financial statements.

Ubisoft Milan is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and support our studio. With the support of an Accountant reporting to you, you will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and contributing to consolidate at Group level via Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

• Oversee general ledger, AP / AR, intercompany, banks, and fixed assets
• Manage monthly and year-end closings and ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements in collaboration with the tax consultant (OIC / Italian GAAP)
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants for statutory audit and tax matters
• Supervise cash flow, payments, and tax deadlines

Group Reporting & Consolidation (HFM)

• Manage monthly and quarterly group reporting processes
• Upload and validate data into HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
• Ensure consistency between local ERP systems and group reporting templates
• Liaise with group finance for audit and consolidation requirements

Tax Credits & Funding

• Oversee the preparation of documentation for video game tax credits
• Work with legal and fiscal consultants on filings and compliance
• Collaborate with national bodies (e.g. DG Cinema, MiC) for grant applications

Budgeting

• Collaborating on HR and personnel costs budgeting supported by the HR Department
• Collaborating on Headcounts planning along with Producers to ensure data consistency on studio projects

Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Accounting, Financeor related fields

Experience

• Consolidated experience in accounting and cost control roles, ideally in the gaming, tech, or media industry
• Experience with group reporting tools like HFM is strongly preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient with ERP systems, Oracle PeopleSoft preferably (e.g. Zucchetti, Oracle, SAP)
• Experience with cash pooling
• Advanced Excel skills
• Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS is a plus
• Fluent in English; French knowledge would be a plus
