The Opportunity

For our Grid Automation business unit, we are looking for a Sales Specialist who will be responsible for the sale of cutting‑edge Hitachi Energy Grid Automation solutions in Italy.

How you will make an impact

• Driving sales volume and margin across the Grid Automation portfolio.
• Building long‑standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs and Hitachi Energy – Grid Automation solutions.
• Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy, in connection with Hitachi Energy rules.
• Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Technical background (Electrical Engineering degree is preferred).
• Knowledge of High Voltage and/or Medium Voltage substations.
• 2‑3 years experience in Automation and Communication is preferred.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Sales Force tool is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of English and Italian, fluent level.
• A collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Availability to travel/clients visits all around Italy.
