The Role

As a Sales Manager at Tamura, you will be a dynamic and inspiring leader responsible for driving our company’s sales strategy in the power electronics, current sensors, and/or gate drivers markets. You will focus on increasing company profit and achieving annual sales targets while building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse cultures and teams across the globe.
  • Utilize company-wide programs, sales development projects, and customer events to drive business development.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals through direct sales efforts, including outside sales calls in assigned territories.
  • Conduct sales calls to identify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Participate in sales strategy and planning meetings.
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual action plans.
  • Contribute to the annual Marketing Plan, including managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities, acting proactively to resolve issues and maximize potential.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing business activities to management and team members.
  • Expand your territories by acquiring new customers, increasing customer satisfaction, and boosting sales through market research.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in English for business negotiations, a second language such as German and/or Italian is necessary.
  • Technical competence in power electronics.
  • High level of autonomy, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • High school diploma or an Engineering degree.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Previous experience and basic knowledge of electromechanical components.
