Overview

Sales Manager (Ref : LS46803)

A Japanese trading house is currently recruiting a Sales Manager to work in their Textile Division in Europe (possible locations: Milan or Paris). In this role you will be responsible for sales and management activities in the textile industry across Europe, covering a wide range of products from fabrics to raw materials. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in textile sales and people management, with the ability to drive business growth across multiple markets. Understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language skills will be advantageous.

TYPE : Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday (standard full-time hours, flexible depending on travel schedule)

SALARY : 60,000–70,000 per year + incentive bonus

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Milan or Paris

Sales Manager – Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand textile sales in Europe, across both fashion and home interior fields
  • Drive business expansion by handling direct sales activities and managing sales staff and agents in various European countries
  • Ensure planning and execution are carried out under the direction of the supervisor, in collaboration with related departments
Sales Manager – Ideal Candidate
  • At least 3 years of work experience in textile sales
  • Business-level proficiency in at least two languages including English (Japanese language skills are a plus)
  • University Master’s degree or above
  • Strong experience in managing people and sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to travel for domestic and international business trips
