A medical equipment company is seeking a Sales Application Specialist in Microbiology. Position Title

Sales Application Specialist Microbiology

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pre‑sales and post‑sales activities: demonstrations, training on instrument operation and maintenance procedures, installation assistance, and field support.
  • Work closely with regional/local team to protect, maintain and grow the company business, focusing on the support of the installed base and communicating regularly with local, zone and management teams.
  • Communicate technical and clinical information, ensuring customers use the instruments with efficiency and skill in appropriate applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement of activities and processes that add value to the customer and business. Monitor customer satisfaction targets and adjust priorities or project tasks to enhance the customer experience, identify new needs, and provide related solutions not initially identified by the customer.
  • Manage existing accounts and exceed sales growth expectations for instruments and reagents.
Key Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Biomedical or equivalent; a Master’s in Microbiology is preferable.
  • At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
  • Open to travel up to 85% of the time (driving license mandatory) with overnight stays in Italy and abroad.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Italian.
  • Able to work autonomously while being a team player.
