Job Description

Your role as Sales Agent: Are you ready to establish and grow a leading consumer health brand in Italy? Medisana is developing, promoting and distributing products in the categories of mobile health, health control, wellness, body care, therapy and healthy home for health‑conscious consumers worldwide. With a well‑established presence in several European markets, we are now looking to expand our footprint in Italy.

As our Sales Agent Consumer Health Products, you will be the driving force behind Medisana’s Italian market entry and expansion, building brand awareness and forging strong relationships with key retailers and e‑commerce platforms. This is a position for a stand‑alone Sales Agent, and will be reporting to the Regional Manager Global Markets, with close operational alignment with our Business Development & Sales Specialist International.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional with a proven network in consumer electronics and health products to take ownership of the Italian market, shape our go‑to‑market strategy, and unlock significant growth potential. The ideal candidate should have experience in building brands, a strong network with key Italian retailers such as "MediaWorld" and "Unieuro", and the ability to handle both offline and e‑commerce sales. You’ll work closely with our headquarters in Germany, receiving Sales & Marketing support, and you’ll have the freedom to leverage your expertise to make Medisana a household name. The sales agent is expected to proactively suggest marketing initiatives, with the company open to co‑investing in local campaigns. While exclusive commitment to Medisana is preferred, candidates with other brands in their portfolio are acceptable. Success depends on the agent’s network and ability to introduce the brand to major retailers.

What you need to do:
  • Develop and expand Medisana’s presence in Italy by identifying, acquiring, and managing distributors, key retailers, and e‑commerce partners.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with major retailers (e.g., MediaWorld, Unieuro) and relevant e‑commerce channels to ensure sustainable growth and brand visibility in the Italian market.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to establish and grow Medisana’s presence in Italy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing developments to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive listings and promotions, both online and offline, to maximize brand visibility and sales.
  • Identify and approach new business opportunities, including pharmacies as a secondary channel.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Collaborate with the HQ in Germany on marketing initiatives and leverage provided materials.
  • Report on market trends, sales performance, and competitor activities.
  • Take ownership of the Medisana brand in Italy, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Represent Medisana at relevant trade fairs, congresses, and industry events to strengthen the brand’s presence.
  • Act as the primary link between customers and Medisana’s internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless cooperation.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in small domestic appliances (SDA), consumer health, or wellness products in Italy.
  • Proven network among major retailers, distributors, and online players.
  • Track record of building brands from scratch and establishing market presence.
  • Solid understanding of both offline and online sales channels.
  • Ability to negotiate, set and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑driven, entrepreneurial and able to operate independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution.
  • Language skills: Fluent Italian and English (for daily communication with our international team).
  • Willingness to work on a commission‑based structure with a ramp‑up period.
  • Experience with pharmacy channels is a plus, but not required.
  • Legally authorized to operate as an independent sales representative within the respective target market.
