Retail Betting Licenses Specialist

Main Responsibilities
  • Administrative, reputational, and credit checks to authorise the transfer of active points of sale.
  • Preparation of all contracts, addenda, communications, and engagement letters needed to make the transfer of points of sale effective.
  • Monitoring of applications submitted to Police Headquarters for the issuance of Public Security Licences, ensuring the necessary support to both the authorities and the points of sale in managing related activities.
  • Verification of the requirements and authorisations needed to activate points of sale.
  • Verification and monitoring of issues that may arise during the procedures for obtaining the Public Security Licence (including notices of refusal).
  • Monitoring of points of sale awaiting TULPS authorisation and related timelines for new openings or changes in management.
  • Updating of the Legal Suite management system and document archiving.
  • Support to Business Units and legal opinions on the feasibility of management changes to avoid point‑of‑sale closures.
  • Periodic reporting activities and progress updates with Business Units and the sales force to oversee process advancement.
  • Management and monitoring of communications received through the account used by points of sale to request legal support related to the activities under the Concession, as well as via the certified e‑mail inbox.
  • Supporting the Manager in the specific activities and projects handled by the Department.
