Our renowned AC Hotel by Marriott Milan Sesto, known for its contemporary and modern traditional cuisine and focus on high-quality ingredients, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to strengthen our kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef
- Work in close collaboration with the Executive Chef in the daily management of all kitchen operations, serving as their direct deputy in their absence
- Brigade Management – supervise, train, and motivate the chefs and kitchen staff (Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs), ensuring an efficient and organized workflow during service
- Menu Development and Creation – actively participate in the research and development of new dishes, experiment with new techniques, and contribute to menu planning, bringing creativity and innovation
- Quality and Standards Control – ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, maintaining impeccable consistency
- Ordering and Inventory Management – collaborate on managing supplier orders, stock control, and checking the quality of incoming raw materials, while optimizing food costs
- HACCP Compliance – play a key role in implementing and monitoring health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in professional, structured kitchens, with a minimum of 2 years in a position of responsibility (e.g., Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie)
- Technical Skills – deep knowledge of modern and traditional cooking techniques, pastry fundamentals, and food preservation methods
- Leadership Skills – natural ability to lead and inspire a team, managing the pressure of service with calm and professionalism
- Creativity and Passion – true passion for culinary arts, refined palate, and a constant desire to experiment and improve
- Organizational Skills – excellent planning and time-management abilities essential for coordinating the kitchen line and food preparation
- Qualifications: a diploma from a culinary institute or equivalent specialized courses is preferred
