We are currently hiring for a new position as a Postdoctoral Researcher within the BE READY NOW project, here at the Dep. of Diagnostics and Public Health team within the University of Verona.

The Researcher will carry out the following activities:

• support in defining the study design, including inclusion/exclusion criteria, interventions, primary and secondary endpoints, and planning the methods for data collection, management, and analysis;
• preparation of the study protocol and documents for study implementation (e.g., Informed Consent Form, Monitoring Plan, Statistical Analysis Plan, and Data Management Plan);
• coordination and organization of procedures for the identification, selection, and training of participating centres and their teams;
• support in submitting documentation to Ethics Committees and competent authorities (CTIS);
• support in patient recruitment and enrollment, monitoring adherence to the protocol, and ensuring the quality of collected data;
• management of randomization and intervention administration;
• data management and support for statistical analysis, ensuring accurate recording, coding, and validation of clinical data;
• ensure study quality and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable European and local regulations;
• coordination of the site initiation process and preparation of contracts with clinical sites, including through the development and adoption of harmonized contract templates;
• draft scientific reports and peer‑reviewed publications; present results at conferences, to regulatory authorities, and to the scientific community; register and update data in public registries (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov, EudraCT).

Academic qualifications and experience required:

• Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery;
• PhD or Medical Specialization title;
• Possession of a scientific‑disciplinary curriculum suitable for carrying out the research activity envisaged in this announcement;
• Knowledge of the following foreign language: English;
• Other requirements: documented research and/or development experience in the disciplinary sector: MEDS‑10/B – Infectious Diseases.
