About the role

Autronica has opportunities to join our Maritime department as Regional Sales Manager based in Genova, Italy. As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in managing our accounts in the maritime market, focusing on new system solution sales (fire detection systems, gas detection systems) to European yards. The position is responsible for market analysis, budgeting, marketing, and handling RFQs from customers. You will coordinate sales activities in the assigned market, manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, and contribute to marketing and sales strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth by achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Manage customer purchase orders, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Oversee the delivery process, sales receipts, and handover of sales documentation to the project or service department for seamless execution.
  • Coordinate and report additional orders while maintaining close communication with relevant teams.
  • Execute the AFS strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and strengthen market presence.
  • Foster and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding and addressing the needs and expectations of key stakeholders, including yards, distributors, and end users.
  • Ensure accurate and timely registration of customer quotes, meetings, and related information in Salesforce.
Qualifications

You demonstrate a customer-oriented attitude, possess exceptional communication skills and have good commercial acumen. You can adjust fast to changing situations and own the responsibility for the results. In addition, you can work independently, are highly organized with excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

  • Extensive experience in sales roles with a track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the entire sales process, from strategic planning to successful closure.
  • Strong business acumen, with in-depth knowledge of industry trends and practices, particularly in the maritime sector.
  • Degree in business administration, sales, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools such as Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in English; another language is a plus.
  • Willingness and availability to travel as required.
  • Committed to professional development through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all organizational levels.
