Overview

Regional Product Manager Power Transformer Europe. Provide the Voice of the Customer in the region with structured proposals to Global Product Managers and lead the market introduction in the Regions and competitiveness actions. You will be accountable for gathering the information about Market drivers, new products, applications and technical requirements and Competitors portfolio analysis. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate with BDMs, M&S, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project/Contract management departments to ensure the seamless integration of products into the production line and meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives
  • Implement global portfolio strategy into the region
  • Create and adapt marketing information to the respective market/region based on the Market Introduction Plan and in alignment with the GPMs and GPMM
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for component standardization, cost reduction, and process optimization
  • Define the key Market events in the region and support the GPM and GPMM in the decision of attending those key events
  • Competitor benchmarking (market intelligence, new releases)
  • Monitor regional product requirements (changes in regulations, standards, legislations)
  • Influence future designs / investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and Market needs
  • Lead the implementation and business cases for DtV projects
  • Provide feedback to GPM on existing and new product performance
Qualifications
  • MSc or BSc Engineering degree
  • Proven experience in product management
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality standards
  • Technical knowledge of the power transformers portfolio with international experience in different customers and product standards. Intercultural sensitivity
  • A strong communicator, confident in delivering updates to senior executives, clients, and stakeholders worldwide
  • A strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills, ready to tackle risks and adapt to evolving global challenges
