A global transport company in Bologna is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Railway Signalling Systems. The role requires providing both on-site and remote technical assistance, managing warranty obligations, and ensuring system performance. Candidates should hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and preferably have at least two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Italian and good English skills are also required. The position involves a mix of direct support and collaboration with various teams.

Competenze

• At least two years of experience in Electronic/Electromechanical company is desirable.
• New graduates will also be evaluated.
• Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English.

Mansioni

• System performance monitoring.
• Execution and supervision of HW and SW system upgrade.
• Provide technical expertise for unknown bugs.
• Provide training to customer maintenance staff.
• Coordinate and support maintenance technicians on field.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of electronic design principle and methodology

Basic knowledge of operating systems

Basic knowledge of net protocols (TCP/IP)

Capability to interpret electric drawings

Capability to use test tools (oscilloscope, multimeter)

Knowledge of railway signalling systems

Formazione

Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent

Degree in Mathematics/Physics
