Your opportunity

Within the Innovation (R&D) team, the position of Quality & Process Specialist on Product lifecycle and Enabling Processes offers a dynamic environment to utilize and expand your expertise in process management and contributes to the continuous improvement and digital transformation of the processes and tools necessary for the efficiency and quality of the Sidel group's Equipment Portfolio & Innovation (Research and Development) activities. This transversal position involves working together across the different teams within Equipment Portfolio & Innovation (Research and Development) and with the other functions in Sidel.

Your Mission
You will join a team dedicated to Quality, R&D Processes, and Tools within the Innovation department. In line with the "Idea to Product" process roadmap, your mission is to lead the management, optimization, harmonization, standardization, and compliance of Product Development After Launch/ Product lifecycle as well as cross-functional processes in Equipment Portfolio & Innovation (Research and Development) to ensure the quality, performance and the alignment of R&D practices with the company's strategic objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Innovation, Engineering, Modularization, Quality, Production, Industrialization, Finance, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Define, formalize, document, and maintain up-to-date processes and procedures for Product Lifecycle, as well as other cross-functional processes within Equipment Portfolio & Innovation (Research and Development) (including modularization and standardization) in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the coherence and integration of Product Life cycle processes, including Platform Evolution Request, and cross-functional Enabling processes in R&D with the other departments involved (Quality, Industrialization, Production, etc.).
  • Define the methodology and establish governance for the application of Modularization and Standardization.
  • Implement performance indicators and monitoring for Product Life cycle processes, including Platform Evolution Request, and cross-functional Enabling processes in R&D to measure their effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for continuous process improvement and lead corrective actions.
  • Support and Train teams in implementing best practices, quality standards, and tools related to those processes.
  • Participate in steering committees, project reviews, and milestone meetings to ensure proper process application.
  • Manage the tool change for Product Evolution process and participate in its integration into the future PLM, support tools managing modularization in collaboration with the Modularization team.

Occasional travel is expected as part of your duties.

Education and Languages

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or quality management (or an equivalent field), providing you with a strong technical background. You are fluent in professional English, and knowledge of French or Italian would be considered an asset.

Professional Skills And Experience

You have at least five years of proven experience in managing R&D processes and methodologies, ideally within an industrial or technological environment. You are knowledgeable in quality and continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma, and you are familiar with ERP systems as well as document management tools. Your profile combines strong analytical skills, rigor, and organizational ability with the capacity to work cross-functionally and bring together multidisciplinary teams. You communicate effectively in both written and oral form across different functions, and you maintain a results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You are proficient in computer tools, including the Office suite, project management solutions such as EPPM, Power BI, and software integrating artificial intelligence. With a proactive attitude, you monitor progress closely and address potential issues ahead of time.
