As Quality Engineer you will review product quality associated with the manufacturing process. You will participate in departmental operations and be responsible for planning and execution. You will perform activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Serve as the interface with the customer’s quality team, addressing quality issues and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  • Write detailed reports and corrective actions and present them during weekly meetings with the customer
  • Review and analyze technical data, drawings and work instructions to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including business leaders, other quality engineers, production engineers, and engineering teams, to troubleshoot and perform failure analysis
  • Assist in resolving quality issues in production
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to the design and validation of production processes
  • Support the audit activities on programs under their responsibility
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience as a quality engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and/or quality control processes
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and quality control
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to supporting and addressing customer quality concerns, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with quality standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Strong analytical skillset to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Familiarity with mechanical products
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing technical data
  • Ability to work independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
