We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Product Team and help ensure the quality of Tuotempos products through the design, implementation and execution of tests. You will report to our QA Manager and work closely with developers, product managers and designers in a dynamic international environment. You can work remotely from anywhere in Italy or from our office in Bologna.

What will you do
  • Ensure that our products and applications work correctly;
  • Assess software quality through manual functional tests;
  • Execute test cases and be able to prepare detailed report results;
  • Evaluate product compliance according to acceptance criteria based on specification;
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams;
  • Conduct testing before release and post-implementation testing;
  • Design, develop test protocols for automated E2E testing;
  • Have a proactive can‑do attitude to overcome technical and process challenges;
  • Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures and test cases;
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications

What we are looking for (must have):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a software tester/engineer
  • Experience writing automated tests (e.g., using Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks)
  • Excellent ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities
  • Curious, proactive and collaborative attitude
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English
  • Understanding of object‑oriented concepts
  • Knowledge of Google Suite
Bonus points (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Javascript
