Un'autorità di sicurezza alimentare europea cerca un Python Developer Assistant per supportare la migrazione di dati e lo sviluppo di script Python. Richiesta ottima conoscenza dell'inglese e competenze in ingegneria dei dati. Il lavoro si svolgerà principalmente in presenza a Parma, con possibilità di lavoro remoto. Offerta iniziale di 3 mesi con possibilità di estensione e salario tra i 28.000€ e i 34.000€ annui.

Competenze

• Esperienza pregressa nello sviluppo software o ingegneria dei dati.
• Competenza nella gestione di database.
• Capacità di svolgere test e assicurazione qualità.

Mansioni

• Supportare la migrazione verso un'infrastruttura di gestione dati basata sul cloud.
• Sviluppare e ottimizzare script Python per l'automazione della validazione dei dati.
• Supportare l'integrazione dei dati da fonti multiple in un database unificato.
• Condurre test e assicurazione qualità dell'ambiente nuovo.

We are looking for a Python Developer Assistant to work in the Integrated Data Unit.

Retribuzione annua: 28000€ - 34000€

Responsabilità

The interim will:

• Support the migration from legacy data collection and database systems to a new cloud-based data management infrastructure
• Develop and optimize Python-based scripts to automate data validation, transformation and migration
• Support the integration of data from multiple sources into unified and reusable database
• Conduct testing and quality assurance of the new environment

Qualifiche

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
• Excellent knowledge of Python
• Experience with PySpark is considered an asset
• Previous experience in software development, data engineering and/or database management
• Behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx. €2259 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
