This job is tied to the “Europe-E” region, which covers UK & I, The Nordics, Benelux, France, Portugal, Spain & Italy.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the delivery of projects from “sales to project team handover” through to “project close”.
- Work in a customer-facing environment with clients in multiple industries and locations.
- Cover all administrative duties on projects to free up consultants’ time to concentrate on technical tasks.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, identify project risks, develop risk registers and produce RACI models.
- Be accountable for delivery of project documentation to customers (e.g., project plans, blueprints, implementation documents, summary documents).
- Assist with the final development of our own agile project management methodology (ELK) – acting as an approver.
- Assist in the growth of the PMO for the Europe-E region.
- Act as a mentor to junior PMO team members.
- Attend user groups in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia to promote EPI-USE Labs’ PMO services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Expected travel of 5-10%.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential Skills
- 5+ years working in a project manager’s role, preferably within the IT industry.
- Experience working in an agile / PRINCE2 project environment delivering solutions/software/products.
- SAP experience within any SAP discipline (e.g., Basis, HCM, MM, PP, SD, FI, ABAP).
- Recognised project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP, MSP, PMI, PMQ).
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance other PMO tasks.
- Ability to quickly learn a new agile project management methodology (ELK) with limited one-to-one training.
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited to no management supervision over long periods.
- A quality-first approach with a good eye for detail and documentation.
- Ability to present effectively to customers using PowerPoint at short notice.
- History of delivering small to medium-sized projects.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK, Europe and Scandinavia as needed.
- Availability to visit Manchester, UK frequently (if working from home).
- Must have the right to freely travel within the UK, EU and EEA / EEC.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Desirable Skills
- Experience working with data or in a data management related role.
- Experience with or exposure to any of EPI-USE Labs’ software portfolio.
- Multilingual, especially Spanish, Italian, French and the Scandinavian languages.
- BA/BS or higher degree (Hons/MSc/MBA) in any discipline.
- SAP Activate PM qualification or other SAP certificates.
- Project management memberships/associations (e.g., APM).
- Conflict management training.
