Job Overview

TE Connectivity's project management team is responsible for organizing the operational aspects of projects from inception to implementation. The project manager coordinates cross-departmental teams and serves as a link between project management, planning, project teams, and line management. The project manager reviews project status and budgets, organizes schedules, and prepares status reports. She/he evaluates project-related problems and develops solutions to meet specifications and goals related to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. She/he also develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervening, and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget within the assigned business area.
  2. Lead assigned core teams to achieve established goals.
  3. Clearly communicate roles, expectations, and responsibilities to team members regularly, using a cross-functional KPI process.
  4. Establish and coordinate design reviews, Design of Experiments (DoE), and continuous improvement activities.
  5. Initiate and maintain project-related change and risk management processes.
  6. Manage interfaces within project teams with a problem-solving and action-oriented approach.
  7. Communicate project status and activities to all internal and external stakeholders.
