Job Description

At ASEM, we are looking for a Product Compliance Engineer for our HQ in Artegna (UD) to join the R&D Hardware team. The resource will follow the certifications of ASEM products.

What will you be doing?
  • Interface with laboratories (EMC, RED, S&V, IP, Drop Test, UL, electrical safety) for quotes, test planning, and updates on ongoing tests.
  • Review and archive Test Reports;
  • European CE, ROHS, REACH declarations;
  • Draft international specific compliance documentation (UKCA, KCC, Morocco, BIS, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US);
  • Determine certification data to be included on labels and manuals;
  • Interface with other internal departments of ASEM: Product Management and Project Management for definition and updates on certification roadmaps; Inside Sales for issuing internal orders for materials needed for testing; Warehouse/Shipping for retrieving materials and issuing Transport Documents (DDT).
  • Organization and quotation for audit for certification/accreditation, subsequent maintenance, for the accredited internal testing laboratory;
  • Organization and quotation for calibration and adjustment of laboratory instruments; Organization of the quality aspect of the certified internal laboratory.
Role Requirements
  • We are looking for people used to working in teams, with an analytical approach, problem-solving skills, and qualitative work management.
  • Precision, data analysis skills, and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to estimate timelines, identify critical issues, understand, and apply priorities.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
