About the Role

We are seeking a freelance Process Project Manager with a strong background in process engineering to lead a key equipment installation project in the food industry. This is a hands‑on role ideal for a mid to senior‑level professional who thrives in dynamic industrial environments and is fluent in both Italian and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of equipment installation and commissioning activities on‑site.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical and operational requirements.
• Support process design reviews, layout optimization, and process integration.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates and documentation to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing industrial equipment installation projects, ideally in the food or beverage sector.
• Solid understanding of process engineering, utilities, and factory operations.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Availability to work on‑site in Perugia for the project duration.
