A leading engineering firm is looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to join their Optical PHY team located in Pavia, Italy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and over 12 years of experience in analog IC design. You will work on high-speed and optical transceivers, manage design tasks, and mentor junior engineers. Proficiency in both Italian and English is essential for this full-time on-site role.

Competenze

• 12-15 years of professional experience in analog IC design.
• Experience in multi-GHz analog design is essential.
• Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English (minimum B2 level).

Mansioni

• Design transistor-level specs and entire analog macros.
• Model and validate circuit blocks, supervise layout.
• Work closely with engineering teams and mentor junior designers.
• Manage simulation and lab characterization tasks.
