About Translated

Translated is where technology and humanity meet to create global understanding. Founded in 1999 by a linguist and a computer scientist, we are on a mission to allow everyone to understand and be understood in their own language.

We envision a world where people from different cultures can communicate seamlessly, with unprecedented access to knowledge, cultural exchange, and business opportunities.

To make this possible, we combine a network of over 500,000 vetted, native‑speaking language professionals with a unique translation AI, Lara, capable of recognizing its limits and explaining its choices. Through an ecosystem of AI‑powered translation tools (Matecat, Matesub, and Matedub), an enterprise localization platform (TranslationOS), and an online translator (Lara Translate), we support more than 400,000 clients in 200 languages, helping people and organizations connect across cultures.

Everything we build reflects a simple principle: technology should amplify human potential, not replace it. Whether through a marketing campaign, an event, or a new process, every project at Translated contributes to a larger purpose: bringing people closer together through understanding.

At Translated, you’ll join an international, collaborative environment where curiosity, creativity, and excellence are valued as much as results.

We believe in humans.

We are looking for an experienced PMO, ideally with a background in Industrial or Management Engineering, to work closely with the CEO in supporting the launch and execution of the company’s new strategic projects, starting with the first one: the European Sales Plan.

This role is an enabler. The PMO improves information flow, increases the effectiveness of meetings, and helps teams interact with the CEO more efficiently, without taking over responsibilities from functional leaders. It also offers direct involvement in high‑impact strategic initiatives, an international and fast‑paced collaborative environment, and the opportunity for professional growth alongside top management.

Compensation range of 50–100k depending on experience and seniority.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO in the kickoff and ongoing progress of new strategic projects.

  • Prepare and structure meetings with the CEO, ensuring clear agendas, ready materials, documented decisions, and verified follow‑ups.

  • Ensure that teams involved in each project have the information they need to engage quickly and productively with the CEO.

  • For the first project (European Sales Plan): facilitate information flow, track the status of activities, and produce concise operational summaries for the CEO.

  • Produce meeting notes, decision memos, and alignment documents.

  • Identify information bottlenecks and propose solutions that simplify team workflows.

  • Use and improve collaborative tools for project management and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3–10+ years of experience as a PMO, Project Manager, Chief of Staff, or similar roles.

  • English as primary working language.

  • Regular on‑site presence in Rome (Pi Campus).

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complexity.

  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to streamline workflows.

  • Ability to work closely with the CEO and with multiple teams without assuming any managerial authority over them.

  • Excellent proficiency with collaborative tools and project management methodologies.
