Dematic is looking for a talented PLC Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract for Dematic Customer Service for its distribution Center in San Vittore di Cesena.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the software packages created "ad hoc" according to specific client’s needs (starting from May 2027).
• Provide support for technical issues about automated warehouse.
• Liaise with electrical, software and mechanical colleagues.
• Provide on-site and remote assistance service to the final customer.
• Collaborate with other colleagues.
• Interface with the customer representative.

Medium‑term Goals

• Become the focal point for the Service Contract.

Candidate Requirements

• Have a real passion and enthusiasm for innovation and software development.
• At least 1 year of experience in the industrial automation field.
• Good experience in the development/programming PLC and in the use of the main automation SW Siemens (S7 and TIA Portal) or other PLCs.
• Good understanding of fieldbus systems and I/O equipment, e.g. Profibus and Profinet.
• Bachelor’s / Three Years Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English written and spoken.
