A leading global company in the cable industry seeks an experienced engineer for their Milan office. The role involves working on product modularity and standardization while managing and maintaining product codes. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, control product costs, and collaborate with various teams to align engineering activities. Strong skills in engineering and CAD tools are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English. This position offers full-time employment.

Competenze

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Experience in technical design and product management.
• Previous experience in practical laboratory work including testing and prototyping is considered a plus.

Mansioni

• Work on product modularity and standardization across engineering designs.
• Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation.
• Control and optimize product costs supporting cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support product strategy and development of customer-facing features.
• Lead phase-in / phase-out activities for product codes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conoscenze

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Fluent in English

Strong problem-solving skills

Formazione

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
