A global insurance leader based in Trieste is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for data preparation, monitoring performance in the Motor area, and developing unit reports. A Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field and proficiency in SQL and Python are required. This full-time position offers a supportive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate and grow.

Competenze

• 3-5 years' experience as Data Engineer/Scientist, IT Analyst or similar.
• Familiarity with the Insurance field and Motor business is an advantage.
• Proactive and innovative attitude for improving tools.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Physics or similar
• Experience as Data Engineer/Scientist, IT Analyst or similar
• Previous experience for 3-5 years in Insurance field, familiarity with Motor business would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Data Lakes, SQL, Python and its development environments (ex Jupiter, etc)
• Experience working with cloud environmentsGood knowledge of Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power Point
• Data analytics and data reporting
• Good knowledge of English and Italian language (written and spoken)
• Proactive and innovative attitude in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
• Great curiosity in order to create an overall vision
