A global biopharmaceutical company in Milan is looking for a Medical Science Liaison for Neurology/Rare Epilepsy. The role involves engaging with key opinion leaders, delivering clinical information, and supporting research efforts. Candidates should have an advanced degree in life sciences, experience in an MSL or related role, and be fluent in Italian and English. This is a hybrid position requiring residency in Lazio and frequent travel within Central Italy.

Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison Neurology / Rare Epilepsy who is scientifically curious, proactive in stakeholder engagement, and passionate about improving patient outcomes, to join our Neurology team, based at our UCB campus located in Milan, Italy.

About the role

You will be a key scientific partner to the medical community, engaging with thought leaders, sharing clinical insights, and helping shape patient-centered solutions in the field of rare epilepsies. This hybrid role covers Central Italy, and you must reside in the Lazio region.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate with internal teams such as Clinical Development, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs, while also engaging with healthcare professionals, academic centres, and patient advocacy groups across Central Italy.

• Proven experience in an MSL or comparable scientific/medical role.
• Expertise in neurology and a strong understanding of the Italian healthcare landscape.
• Prior experience in rare diseases is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Fluent in both Italian and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel frequently within Central Italy.
• Residence in Lazio is required.
