This role requires substantial travel (at least 70%) and a proactive attitude towards safety and customer service. Excellent English communication skills are essential.

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer Reciprocating Compressor you will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard. You will enjoy opportunities to develop your product knowledge and technical skills in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Overseeing overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Reciprocating Compressor products at customer sites.
• Leading customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
• Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
• Strong knowledge on Reciprocating Compressor installation/maintenance philosophy.
• Display an impressive customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
• Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
• Be a motivated self-starter and be able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
• Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
• Have an EU Passport or a European Work permit.
• This role requires extensive travel. Applicants must be willing and able to travel significantly (not less than 70%) without geographical restriction including offshore.
