As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Heavy‑Duty Gas Turbines, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. You will lead installation, maintenance, and repair activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe and compliant installations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Overseeing overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressor products at customer sites.
  • Leading customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and advise on technical solutions.
  • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a technical diploma.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Display a good customer‑service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
  • Communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Be aware of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
  • Be a motivated self‑starter who can make key decisions and innovate solutions.
  • Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
  • Hold an EU passport/European work permit and have strong verbal and written Italian language skills.
  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 80%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
