Overview
The Job - Marketing Manager
In this role you will report to the Head of Marketing Southern Europe. You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the marketing communication programme in the Athens and Prague focus cities, delivering best-in-class marketing campaigns that grow the easyJet brand and deliver maximum return on investment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the media investment function on the coordination, planning, management and execution of integrated campaigns, including ATL, Google PMAX and BTL communications and owned channels (demonstrating a strong digital understanding).
- Lead campaign planning and creative development for all required paid media assets (with a particular focus on Google PMAX) aligned to trading and business objectives for Athens and Prague focus cities.
- Plan, create, deploy and measure content across owned and organic channels (including organic social, CRM, web and app) for Athens and Prague.
- Coordinate agency resources (for Prague focus city).
- Monitor country trading performance, identify trading gaps and develop plans to address gaps using marketing levers such as CRM, app, PPC, in collaboration with the media team.
- Build relationships with tourist boards and airports and activate co-marketing campaigns.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are strategically and creatively integrated across all local communication channels (PR, digital, website, CRM, social media, airports branding, etc.).
- Develop and manage the country marketing calendar across paid and owned channels.
- Plan, write (for Athens only) and execute targeted CRM campaigns to inspire repeat bookings, with tracking to enhance growth.
- Manage and write (for Athens only) content on accountable website homepages and landing pages, particularly for tourist board placements.
- Maintain effective internal communications to keep relevant company functions informed of marketing activities.
- Plan, create, deploy and measure content across owned and organic channels (including organic social, CRM, web and app) for Athens and Prague.
- Coordinate and brief external agency resources to deliver all paid and owned copywriting for the Czech content plan (for Prague focus city).
Qualifications
- You will need to be a Greek native speaker and English fluent speaker. Italian and/or Czech language skills would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience in copywriting in Greek across paid digital and owned channels (e.g., CRM).
- Marketing experience in a large, fast-paced, high-traffic e-commerce business in a front-line role (client or agency), with experience in creative development, media planning, budget control, and working with external agencies.
- Comfort with data and analysis to inform plans, with a proactive and curious approach to adopting AI to evolve digital marketing and creative production.
- Up-to-date with ecommerce marketing trends and a strong digital skillset, with solid knowledge of local media environments and campaign implementation.
- Strong organization and planning skills and the ability to work in a highly matrixed business.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-changing environment.

Location & Hours of Work
This role can be based in either Italy (Milan) or the UK (Luton) with occasional visits to Athens/Prague.
