Renting and Waste Management Services

The Managing Director, reporting directly to the international management, will be fully responsible for the Italian entity, which employs approximately 100 people, with significant autonomy (managing teams such as Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Marketing).

He/she will play a crucial role in motivating teams, building bridges between departments, developing key performance indicators (KPIs) from a process and financial perspective, and increasing employee engagement and productivity.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Development and implementation of the group's strategy in Italy
• Profitability (procedural efficiency, cost reduction)
• Achievement of market share and margin targets
• Monitoring of the NPS score: customer satisfaction
• Profitability, balance sheet, and cash flow management
• Organization and implementation of processes
• Staff engagement and motivation

The Managing Director will serve as a "player-coach." Given the size of the Italian organization, it is important to simultaneously assume the roles of player and coach, be on the pitch, develop strategic plans, and coordinate the subsidiary's financial and administrative activities.

Requirements :

• University degree in engineering or business administration
• Experience in multinational environments
• Proven experience as a general manager, country manager, business unit manager, CEO, operations manager, or property manager in the construction, waste management, facilities management, or logistics sectors.
• Complete management of the P&L of a business unit or operational department
• Pragmatic approach; people skills and efficiency. Ability to mobilize and motivate teams.
• Fluent in English. French is an asset.
• Availability for regular travel (within Italy and abroad).
