    • Responsibilities
    • In this role, you will be responsible for the following :
    • Administrative Law
    • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on best market practices related to the development of solar PV and battery storage projects. Engage with public administrations, attend steering committees, and draft and review legal opinions on administrative law.
    • Due Diligence
    • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of laws and opinions to perform internal due diligence on administrative matters. Analyze external legal and technical due diligence and / or notarial reports in relation to relevant transactions.
    • M&A Transactions
    • Prepare, draft, and negotiate documents essential to M&A transactions and development deals.
    • Development Support
    • Offer guidance and oversight for the greenfield development of projects. Review analyses and support the team in structuring deals, project selection, and filing.
    • Legal Research
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest updates in the Italian administrative legal framework concerning solar PV and BESS development.
    • Drafting and Negotiation
    • Prepare, negotiate, and execute preliminary or definitive land purchase agreements, surface agreements, memoranda of understanding, binding and non-binding offers, escrow agreements, loan agreements, and service agreements.
    • Stakeholder Liaison
    • Collaborate with external parties, including regions, municipalities, public bodies, suppliers, notaries, landlords, law firms, and consultants to enhance the company's business.
    • Requirements
    • Ideally, you possess the following qualifications :
    • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the renewable energy market, with a focus on PV and BESS project development / permitting in the Italian market.
    • Experience in handling M&A transactions and the ability to lead such transactions.
    • Advanced knowledge of administrative procedures, authorization procedures in Italy, and their applicability to PV and BESS projects.
    • A very advanced understanding of laws related to civil procedure and private law, including property, real estate, rights in rem, guarantees, and family laws.
    • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to work independently.
    • Fluency in spoken and written English.
