Junior Manufacturing Engineer

Place of work : Pomigliano d’Arco

We offer : An initial temporary contract of 6 / 12 months with the possibility of future permanent placement.

Working hours : Full time

What will you be responsible for

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be integral to the development and enhancement of manufacturing processes within the Value Stream ME team. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to ensure the efficient production of both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Legacy products. This role is designed for you to gain hands‑on experience and significantly develop your skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

Retribuzione annua : 28000€ - 34000€

What requirements are we looking for?

• A Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing of at least 2 years.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
• The ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fluency in both English (minimum B2 / C1 level, spoken proficiency is key) and Italian.
• Excellent knowledge of technical drawings.

Specifically the activities will be :

• Assisting in the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for both NPI and Legacy products.
• Supporting the implementation of process changes, fixture improvements, and the selection of tools and machinery.
• Helping to ensure that target metrics are achieved for supported processes, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), First Time Yield (FTY), product cost, lead time, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and cycle times.
• Contributing innovative ideas and positive support to ongoing process improvement efforts.
• Assisting in the creation of manufacturing instructions, ensuring customer requirements are met and manufacturing best practices are documented.
• Supporting Process Substantiation and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
