As a
Junior HR Business Partner (HRBP) based in
Parma, Italy, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR operations and initiatives for the Italian entity while collaborating closely with International HRBPs across our global business areas. This role combines hands-on HR administration, payroll preparation, employee relations, and employment documentation, contributing to the seamless operation of the HR function within FORTNA Italy.
You will report to the Director HR International.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance in compliance with Italian labor laws.
- Prepare employment agreements, amendments, and other contractual documentation.
- Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Payroll Preparation & Benefits
- Collect, verify, and process payroll-related information to ensure accurate and timely submission to external payroll providers.
- Act as the point of contact for payroll inquiries, benefits, and compensation-related topics.
- Liaise with finance and accounting teams for payroll reconciliations and reporting.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Support employee relations matters by providing first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
- Ensure HR processes and practices comply with local legal requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in resolving employee queries, providing guidance on benefits, leaves, and HR policies.
Collaboration with International HRBPs
- Collaborate with 5 International HRBPs aligned to FORTNA’s various business areas to ensure alignment on HR programs and priorities.
- Provide local HR insights to support broader HR initiatives such as performance management, engagement, and organizational development.
Data & Reporting
- Prepare data and reports for audits, internal reviews, or external inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or showed experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with exposure to payroll preparation and HR administration in Italy.
- Knowledge of Italian labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Strong communication skills in Italian and English (both written and verbal).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international matrix environment.
