Tasks
  1. As a systems engineer in the field of IT infrastructure, you will manage IT projects for the strategic renewal and optimization of the IT systems used while adhering to time and budget.
  2. You will work with internal and external service providers and customers to ensure consistent project implementation of cross-divisional requirements.
  3. Conceptual development of future-oriented and sustainable IT strategies is also part of your area of activity.
  4. You will be responsible for identifying and tracking improvement and automation potential resulting from process requirements and legal regulations to ensure information security and system availability.
  5. Your skills are characterized by interdisciplinary architecture design, implementation, and continuous optimization of the computer, network, and storage infrastructure, along with associated IT security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery systems, mechanisms, and procedures.
  6. You will evaluate faults and results from anomaly detection, focusing on developing and implementing cross-system workarounds and countermeasures.
  7. Deriving and implementing architectural preventive measures to optimize system resilience, fault, and anomaly detection is also part of your responsibilities.
  8. You will act as an asset owner for information security within the application area and within the cross-company IT security team, including creating risk analyses, developing, and implementing processes to comply with legal information security requirements, safeguarding company interests.
Requirements
  1. You have a Master's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  2. You possess extensive knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux, with experience managing IT projects and service providers.
  3. You are comfortable working within agile structures and have experience in network technology (routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN, SDN) and virtualization environments like VMware.
  4. Your personality is characterized by a high sense of responsibility, motivation, teamwork, persuasiveness, reliability, conscientiousness, independence, systematic and structured working style, flexibility, and the ability to maintain overview in dynamic situations, along with willingness to participate in on-call duties.
