The Investment Governance & Analytics team is part of Generali Investments Holding under the Chief of Investment function. The mission of the team is defining and maintaining the investment governance framework across the asset management remit, also in case of transformation projects.

The department also defines the investment analytics framework for Generali Investments in coordination with the relevant functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the evaluation, analysis and monitoring of seed capital requests submitted by Generali Investments affiliates, overseeing the entire value chain from idea generation to product delivery and ex‑post monitoring.
  • Assess and analyze new seeding requests based on a business case and specific KPIs.
  • Coordinate the implementation and structuring of seeding initiatives.
  • Oversee performance and commercial results and provide periodic reporting to Company’s governing bodies.
  • Structure and implement key investment‑related projects, such as asset insourcing, with the objective of streamlining and optimizing the investment activities across Generali Investments.
  • Coordinate and oversee investment initiatives, facilitating interactions between Generali Investments Holding, its affiliates and Group functions acting as focal point for cross‑functional / entity activities.
  • Design and maintain periodic managerial reporting on key metrics of Asset Management Companies (e.g., performance, flows, risk indicators), ensuring timely and accurate investment analytics for management and internal governance bodies.
  • Provide direct analytical and strategic support to GIH Chief of Investment, contributing to decision‑making processes and investment oversight through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Main Tasks
  • Work collaboratively with Generali Investments affiliates to define seed capital initiatives, develop comprehensive business cases, prepare all necessary materials for the approval process, and coordinate related execution activities.
  • Facilitate asset insourcing projects by engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the coordination of strategic projects with Generali Investments affiliates, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all relevant functions.
  • Provide support in data analysis and monitoring through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessments, thereby facilitating informed investment decision‑making.
  • Prepare and maintain precise documentation and reporting on the performance of Generali Investments’ funds.
Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Finance or Economics.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, IMC) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in the financial sector or strategic consultancy sector. Experience in fund selection or fund analysis will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, both liquid and illiquid, and related market dynamics.
  • Prior experience in an international and cross‑functional work environment is preferred.

Technical skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with key financial data platforms such as Morningstar and Bloomberg. Working knowledge of Python/SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver results.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.
