Interim Program Manager
For a leading company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of components in the Province of Turin, we are looking for an Interim Program Manager.
We evaluate candidates who are self‑employed (VAT‑registered/freelance). The project is full‑time and will have a duration of 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and management of project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations to support the launch of new strategic software implementation tools.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Chair weekly meetings to facilitate effective communication between clients, internal teams, and external vendors and present detailed project reports and status updates to all stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the clients’ primary point of contact, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges and solutions.
- Coordinate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure collaboration and accountability for project deliverables.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress and resolve issues to keep the project on track.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement within the project team.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct project reviews, identify lessons learned and implement improvements in future projects.
- Support post‑implementation activities, including training, documentation and client feedback collection.
- Potential projects include Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse, HRIS, ERP, WMS and commercial strategic tools to ensure best practices in configuration and deployment across multiple countries, cultures, time zones and languages.
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience leading teams of developers, preferably in a product‑based software delivery environment.
- Experience with agile software development practices as part of a product‑based team.
- Experience managing third‑party SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with supply‑chain processes, such as demand planning, inventory management and S&OP.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, leadership and time‑management skills.
Offer
For this position, we anticipate a full‑time, 12‑month collaboration on a self‑employed (freelance/contract) basis. The expected daily rate is €400‑€500 per day.
